Welcome to Mamas in Spirit, a podcast pointing you towards God in everything you are and everything you do. I'm Lindy's daughter and this is a blessing to be with you. Merry Christmas! We're Lindy's daughters. Hey sis, what's your favorite thing about Christmas so far? My favorite thing about Christmas so far is spending time with the family. What about you?
My favorite thing is that I got a new cool brand new electric bike.
I have a song for you.
Rocking around the Christmas tree at the Christmas party hop. Miss a toe hung where you can see every couple tries to stop. Rocking around the Christmas tree let the Christmas spirit ring.
Later we'll have some pumpkin pie and we'll do some caroling. You will get a sentimental feeling when you hear voices singing let's be jolly day. The halls of balls of holly rocking around the Christmas tree have a happy holiday. Everyone dancing merrily in the new old fashioned way.
you
Here's why I'm-
Hi everyone, Merry Christmas. What a blessing it is to be here on Christmas Day when we are recording and also as the very final episode of season seven of Mamas in Spirit. It is an absolute delight and joy to my heart to be on this pilgrimage with you, this pilgrimage into the sacred heart of Christ and praise God for today and the gift of new life. And when our family was at Mass this morning,
It reminded me of my own conversion and of the gift of light, the gift of love, the gift of Christ into my own heart. And I pray for that for every single one of us today. Also, I wanted to share my favorite moment from Christmas morning, which was when our daughters revealed they got to spend the night together last night in the same bed and our older daughters moved out. So it was very, very precious. And they held hands all night long.
And that just touched my heart so deeply and reminded me of the purity of love and the purity of God's love. And so God is a God of surprises. And I know, and we know from listening to all these many retreats in a podcast that there's all different seasons in our lives. There's all different times in our lives. And every Christmas may feel a little different on earth. And yet Christmas and eternity, Christ is always the same. Faithful.
loving, giving the gift of hope beyond measure. So I pray that you are surprised today with a Christmas miracle in some way that your heart and your life is touched and opened and that you receive the gift of new life. And speaking of the gift of new life, as I talked about in the last Advent podcast with our beloved chaplain, Father John Meyer, I'm going into a time of discernment to really pray about what God wants.
and really God's will and vision for next year for Mamas in Spirit. So stay tuned, be sure to subscribe if you haven't already, follow on Instagram and or Facebook and just stay connected. I am so blessed to be your sister in Christ. Mamas in Spirit has changed my life. And so I leave this season in great gratitude and great love for every single one of you and ultimately the greatest love of all, God. God bless and keep you. This is Lindy Nguyen with Mamas in Spirit.
May God bless you and yours always.
